Arboriculture – Tree Survey and Assessment

Arboriculture

Where development projects occur in proximity to trees, there are important arboricultural elements to consider both above and below the ground. Baseline information about trees is required in order to follow best practice guidance, as provided in British Standard (BS) 5837:2012 “Trees in Relation to Design, Demolition and Construction – Recommendations”.

Our experienced arboricultural consultant will conduct a tree survey for sites in Kent, Sussex, Surrey, and London to collect data about the trees, which is detailed in the tree survey report, along with the Arboricultural Method Statement (AMS), Arboricultural Implications Assessment (AIA) and Tree Survey Schedule (TSS).

In addition, drawings are produced to include an initial Tree Constraints Plan (TCP), along with a Tree Protection Plan (TPP), whereby working methodologies and tree protection methods are identified and detailed for construction in close proximity to trees.
